  1. DITTO11.ZIP - Freeware directory duplicator, Ver 1.1

  4. Ditto is an MS Windows based program that will duplicate a directory of
  5. files, optionally copying only the files that are new or have changed
  6. from those in the destination directory.  I wrote Ditto to transfer my
  7. programming work from computer to computer, but it could also be used as
  8. a way to backup a single directory.
  9.  
  10. Included in this archive are the following four files
  11.  
  12.     DITTO.TXT   - This File
  13.     DITTO.EXE   - The Ditto Program
  14.     CTL3D.DLL   - 3D Controls DLL (by Microsoft)
  15.     DITTO.HLP   - Help File
  16.  
  17. *** Installation/Uninstallation ***
  18.  
  19. To install simply copy the DITTO.EXE and DITTO.HLP files to the directory
  20. of your choice.  The CTL3D.DLL file should be copied to either your windows
  21. directory or to the windows/system directory.  If any configurations are 
  22. saved, Ditto will create a DITTO.INI file in your windows directory.

  24. To fully uninstall Ditto, delete the DITTO.EXE, DITTO.HLP, and DITTO.INI 
  25. files.  The CTRL3D.DLL file is distributed my Microsoft, and other developers
  26. may also be using it for their program.  It is best not to delete it unless 
  27. you are sure that no other programs are using it.
